At the spaces of the museum the
life of Kefalos village is revived
through a great selection of
photographs and objects of the
everyday life used by the ancestors
of the area, from agricultural tools
to house utensils to specimens
of the textile industry and rare
documents. After the tour you
can enjoy your coffee or a local
dish accompanied by ouzo or

μεγάλη συλλογή φωτογραφιών
και αντικειμένων της καθημερινής
ζωής των προγόνων της

και οικιακά σκεύη μέχρι είδη
κλωστοϋφαντουργίας και σπάνια

INTERNATIONAL HIPPOCRATIC
FOUNDATION OF KOS
Founded in 1960 in honour of Hippocrates, it
stretches out on a hillside of 380,000 square
meters and boasts panoramic views. The site is full
of precious plants and herbs used by the ancient
Greek physician for their healing properties. Each
year the foundation organises the Amphictyonies,
a conference aiming to strengthen relations among
various communities, societies and universities.
Ιδρύθηκε το 1960 προς τιμήν του Ιπποκράτη και The International Hippocratic Foundation of Kos Digital Archives
απλώνεται σε μια πλαγιά 380.000 τετραγωνικών
μέτρων με πανοραμική θέα. Ο χώρος είναι γεμάτος
πολύτιμα φυτά και βότανα που χρησιμοποιούσε ο
αρχαίος Έλληνας ιατρός για τις θεραπευτικές τους
ιδιότητες. Κάθε χρόνο διοργανώνει τις Αμφικτυονίες,
με σκοπό να φέρει σε επαφή
τους διάφορους συλλόγους,
εταιρείες και πανεπιστήμια.
